Save or copy the file to a path available to your System Center Configuration Manager 2007 Site Server so that it can access it for package creation.

*Note: The above package does not check for updates from Microsoft Update as part of the setup process as it contains all current updates.

Step 2: Create the Software Deployment Package.

First start the Configuration Manager console by doing the following:

Click Start, click All Programs, click Microsoft System Center, click Configuration Manager 2007,.then ConfigMgr Console.

In the Configuration Manager 2007 Console, expand the following path:

Site Database -> Computer Management -> Software Distribution -> Packages.

Right click Packages, click New, then Package.

In the New Package Wizard, on the General page, enter the properties and click Next.

On the Data Source page, select "This package contains source files".

Click the "Set..." button and browse to the path where the files were downloaded in step 1. Select additional options as necessary. See http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb680872.aspx for more information on the available options. Click Next.

On the Data Access page, choose to copy the file to a Configuration Manager package share, or to use the location where files were downloaded in step 1.

Select Package update settings as needed and click Next.

On the Distribution Settings page, configure as necessary for your environment and click Next.

On the Requirements page, configure the Estimated disk space as 250MB, and set your preferred Maximum allowed runtime (minutes). The time to install can vary, so be sure to allow for slower systems to have enough time to install the package.

· All x64 Windows 7
· All x64 Windows Vista
· All x86 Windows 7
· All x86 Windows Vista
